My favorite tool for keeping track of my social media accounts is HootSuite. Before I tested it for myself I had used about half a dozen other programs but they never really did what I wanted them to do. The features were not what I was looking for. It is much easier to decide if a program is good for you by first deciding what you want it to do for you.
I am building my business part time I do not have as much time to devote to all of the tasks that need to be done as often as I would like. Therefore it is critical that the tools I choose help to fill those gaps for me.
With HootSuite I can access my main social media accounts and they each have their own tab in the tabbed layout. This saves me the time of having to log into each and every account to check up on things and to talk to people.

My favorite function of HootSuite is that I can schedule Twitter RT’s. I can quickly and easily see what my friends and followers are doing and talking about; made even easier as HootSuite enables me to utilize my Twitter lists.
