At the moment, Pinterest is one of the number 3 most famous social networks online. It follows the steps of Facebook and twitter. But still a lot of business owners don’t understand how to use Pinterest marketing for business. A lot of Pinterest users can offer you engaging stories about their success using the said platform. The fast rise of this social network is also because users can pin and put their photos to different virtual boards anddifferent categories too.If you are a business owner, you will have the chance to put your business’ photos, products and others in a specific category for others to see them in a more organize manner. • Strategize how you will become successful in pinning

It’s essential to do proper planning in business so failure will not run after you. It’s important to keep your page leading in the Pinterest page. Though it will take much of your time, you have to keep it that way to become successful.

  • Make an account and make sure that people can easily connect with you and that you are adequately branded.
  • Don’t forget to put your photo or add a logo of the company. Make sure that you also have optimized titles for these.
  • Make a short description in the about me section.
  • You can link your Pinterest account with other social networks you have such as Twitter and Facebook.
  • Indicate direct links to your website for better visibility in different search engines.
  • Have a specific pinning strategy

There are different ways of how you can use Pinterest to market your business. You can get started using some of these techniques.

  • Always make it a point to only pin photos that will represent your business and brand name. As people follow you and as you build a network or circle, you are also making a set of loyal community that will re-pin some of your contents in the future. They will help you in extending your business reach to their followers as well.
  • You can always follow others who are also in the same field as yours. You can re-pin some information that they also have which you find useful as well. This is known as the law of reciprocity; it is one of the best ways to build relationship with other people.
  • Make sure you add you’re Facebook, twitter and other social network pages’ URL to make sure that those who will re-pin your content can also connect with you online.
  • Always practice social pinning

Because Pinterest is all about socializing with people, you should learn how to do give and take.

  1. All good points. Pinterest is certainly poised to be a significant force in business in the future. Getting a solid foothold there now can pay large dividends to savvy businesses in the future.

  2. I must admit that Pinterest is not high on my list of priorities at the moment. For one thing, I’m not exactly the service’s “target audience,” and I rarely get any hits from there. But I’m glad to read any kind of “how to” posts when it comes to dealing with the service.

Posting photos that support your brand definitely makes sense. As with all other services, some people get so caught up in posting that they don’t think about WHAT they’re posting.

  3. I enjoy Pinterest for personal use, but I think whether it works for your business depends a lot on the type of business. For example, I have a friend who works in real estate. Pinterest makes a lot of sense for her to show listings. However, I haven’t found a lot of value in Pinterest for promoting my blog. Overall, I guess it’s just best to use (or not) the various social mediums in ways that work best for your purposes. This took a little learning on my part. I used to try to use them just because I could. Not a good strategy.

  4. I’m actively working on the Pinterest thing but oh boy talk about a slow start. I just recently started a Pinterest business account and when you’re the brand-new down the block you feel small.

Either way thank you for sharing and have yourself a wonderful day,

    Barry
